39 Week Appointment

We had our 39 week appointment this afternoon. My vitals & urine were good and Page's heartbeat was normal. I am still at 1cm. Dr. Linnerson says that many women stay at 1cm until they go into active labor. I guess I just need to be patient & this little one will come when she is ready! My hip has been really hurting this week, so I'm hoping Page will decide to come soon :) Even though I am anxious to meet Page, I am also very thankful that we had time to get settled in our new home & that she is one healthy baby!

39 Weeks

Today, I am 39 weeks. We are really hoping Page will come out & play soon! I thought I should take a couple "real" belly shots today...

38 Week Appointment

We had our 38 week appointment today. Everything looks good (vitals, urine, & Page's heartbeat). I am still at 1cm, but have started having contractions & my pelvis is opening. My bad hip has been bothering me, but Dr. Linnerson assures me that it will not effect labor. As for the contractions, they don't hurt & are getting my body ready for the real thing. I'm hoping Page will come on or before my due date, but if not Dr. Linnerson will induce me on Friday, August 5th. He will be on call over the weekend which will work out nicely if we have to go that route. Page is still in the perfect position & Dr. Linnerson says she's currently between 7-7.5lbs. If she goes to my due date, he predicts, she will be between 8-8.5lbs. Looks like we'll be having one healthy baby!

Page's Room

We finished Page's room today! Cole did a great job painting & putting together the furniture. We couldn't be happier with the final product!

Now its time to start organizing all of Page's things :)

37 Week Appointment

Today we had our 37 week appointment with Dr. Linnerson. Everything looks good & Page's heartbeat was 165bpm. It is estimated that she weighs a little over 6lbs & is about 19 inches long. I am still at 1cm dilated & 50 % effaced. I was a little disappointed to see no progress, but Cole reminded me that this means we have more time to get ready for her! Cole finished painting Page's room last night & will start assembling her furniture tomorrow. I was able to buy everything we will need for the first couple of months this weekend. It feels good to be a little more prepared. Next on the list is packing the hospital bag & organizing all of Page's stuff :)

37 Weeks

We are so thankful we have made it to full-term! Miss Page could come at any time :) I thought this belly shot would be appropriate as I spend lots of time in the pool!

36 Week Appointment

I had my 36 week appointment yesterday with Dr. Linnerson. My vitals & urine are normal and Page's heart beat was a strong 170bpm. My swelling is doing much better, thanks to my tennis shoes, but I now have pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. Too weird! I have started the first stage of labor, I am 1cm dilated & 50% effaced! This does not predict when Miss Page will arrive as everyone is different in the rate they progress. It does tell us we are heading in the right direction. Looking forward to next week's update!

I had a shower at work today. Page got lots of great gifts. I am very thankful to work with such great people! Cole is busy working on Page's room & I am trying to figure out what all we need to buy before Page arrives. Lots of excitement around here!

36 Week Belly Shot

My belly keeps on growing & so does Page! Page is almost 6lbs & around 18.5 inches.
We are settling into our new house & have started working on Page's room. The furniture & bedding have been ordered and today we picked out paint colors. Hopefully, we'll have the next 4 weeks to finish up before Miss Page arrives!

35 Week Appointment

Yikes! Yes, those were my feet (cankles) Tuesday night! I had an extra OB visit on Wednesday morning to make sure everything else was okay. My blood pressure was perfect, my urine was good, & the baby's heart rate was right were is should be (150bpm). They are going to continue to monitor my swelling, but for now it's just part of being pregnant in the summer. The NP did recommend wearing tennis shoes. I stopped by JCPenney's & ended up buying a pair of wide shoes 2 sizes bigger than usual. They were the best purchase ever! With the low sodium diet, drinking lots of water, wearing tennis shoes, swimming, & elevating my feet, my feet are 75% better!
