My Baby Shower

Yesterday was my baby shower. It was lots of fun! I feel so blessed to have such wonderful family & friends.

Jenna did a great job planning the shower & my mom was lots of help!

We had the shower at our new house. We have an extra room that was prefect for the festivities. It was decorated so nicely!

Oh course, we played a few games...

My friend Kristen won this game. She cheated & measured me with her arms when she hugged me :) Smart girl!

We received so many wonderful gifts. Page is one lucky girl!

I had to include a picture of Patch. As always, he was in the middle of everything :) Luckily, he behaved himself.

It was a wonderful shower! Thank you to everyone for making it so special!!

34 Week Appointment

We had our 34 week appointment today with Dr. Linnerson. Everything looks good & Page's heart beat was 165 beats per minute. Dr. Linnerson says Page with double in size over the next 6 weeks. Hard to imagine! I will have my next OB appointment in 2 weeks & then I will be seen once a week until Page arrives. My feet & ankles are really swollen this week, thanks to the over 110 degree heat. Dr. Linnerson says swimming will help with the edema, so I plan to swim every night after work. It's worth a shot! I'm looking forward to my baby shower on Saturday & excited to finally start decorating the nursery!

We closed on our house on June 14th (Cole's birthday) & moved this weekend. We are getting settled & looking forward to decorating the nursery. Hard to imagine Page will be here in 6 short weeks!

32 Week Appointment

I had my 32 week OB appointment today with Dr. Hartzfeld. Everything looks good (vitals, urine, measurements, etc). Page's heartbeat went from 120bpm to 150bpm as the doctor listened. She said they like to see the fluctuation as is shows a response to stimuli. Page's head is down & she is perfectly positioned. It was pretty neat to listen to the doctor explain where each part of her body is located. No big surprises though...I do feel this girl move :) I just hope she decides to stay in this position. The next OB appointment will be in 2 weeks with Dr. Linnerson. It has been a while since I've seen him.

Page continues to grow. She is just under 4 lbs & almost 17 inches long. Hard to imagine all that is going on inside! There will be lots of growth within the next few weeks. I hope my body responds well to all the change ;)

In other news, we will be taking professional maternity photos June 18th. My friend Kari will be taking the photos. We worked together at PCH before she had her little girl 2 years ago. Since leaving the hosptial, she started a photography company. She does amazing work. I'm really excited to see how the pictures turn out!

32 Weeks!

I'm 32 weeks today! Miss Page will be here in just 8 short weeks! We will be closing on our new house on Tuesday & moving in next weekend. After we are settled, we can finally work on Page's room! Today was the first hot day of the summer. I have a feeling the pool & I will become good friends :)
