2 Years Old!!

Happy 2nd Birthday baby girl! We can't believe you're already 2 years old! Oh, how the time flies by!! You are such a blessing in our life and we love you more than words. Nothing brings us more joy than being your parents. You are such a loving, curious, cautious, intelligent, active, silly, and strong willed little lady! We love to watch you grow and are so proud of the little person you are becoming!

All About Page this month...

Page loves cars, necklaces, Dora, animals, car rides, raspberries, McDonald's, hide and seek, books, stairs, jumping, dress up, and tag! She likes to sit on the "big girl" chairs, throws a mean tantrum, will move her little tongue when she's excited, loves to be playing and exploring, thinks its funny to run away from mommy, has fun playing monster, has started twirling her hair, and likes to be in between 2 people when they hug!

Firsts - Page played with Sparklers on the 4th of July, went to the beach for the first time, graduated from ISR and can now swim and float independently, can stack 8 blocks, runs super fast, can identify objects in a book, knows many body parts, and has started putting words together!

Festivities - Page spent the week of the 4th playing with Aunt JuJu and her girls, had a pool party with the Herrera's, went to the Splash Pad with Brayden and Makayla, went to Pismo Beach CA on the airplane for an Atwood family reunion, enjoyed the Winter in July event at the Phoenix Zoo, had her 2 year picture's done, had a wonderful birthday party with all of her favorite people, and played at Imagination Avenue!!

Other News - Page had the stomach flu earlier this month that led to a crazy diaper rash. Poor girl! Luckily the rash is clearing up now.

Winter in July Event

Saturday morning we took Page to the Winter in July event at the Phoenix Zoo. There was snow, water, and bonce house slides to play with! Page checked out the snow for about two minutes, I guess she thought it was too cold ;) She loved playing in the water and rode the carousel several times though! A few pictures of the day...

Page Graduated From ISR!!

Page graduated from ISR lessons today! On Wednesday she swam in her PJs, on Thursday she swam in winter clothes, and today she swam with Miss Darla and mommy! Page didn't want lessons to end today, she said "again" and got very upset that it was another child's turn ;) We are so happy she is enjoying swimming and so thankful to "Dar" for being so patient with us and for helping us keep our little one safe in the water!! We are so proud of our little Pagers, it took her 12 week to come around, but she got it! :)

Atwood Family Reunion

Last week we spent 4 days in Pismo Beach, California for an Atwood family reunion. This is my dad's mom's family. We get together every 2-3 years, have been doing this as long as I have been around. This year about 90 family members were able to make it. We have had 200-300 family members in past years. I'm so thankful to be part of such a great family and thankful I know my extended family so well. It was great to see everyone! Page did awesome on the airplane rides and enjoyed playing with all her cousins. We had a nice suite with an awesome view and got to spend lots of time at the beach. Page was scared of the ocean but enjoyed playing in the sand after she got over the fact that she was getting dirty ;) We didn't spend much time in the pool. It was too cold for our liking, but the rest of the family enjoyed it. It wasn't really "beach weather," it was in the low 70s during the day with a breeze. However, we really enjoyed the cooler temps. It was a great trip that went by way too fast, we were sad to come home! Here are a few pictures (okay a lot of pictures) from our trip...

Got to eat lunch and check out the private planes while we waited for our flight in San Luis Obispo. Got a deal by flying to LA on our way home, going to go for a direct flight next time ;)

ISR Week 11

Patriotic Wreath

I saw this wreath on Pinterest and had to have one! I couldn't find one to purchase, so I decided to make it myself. It took lots of time, but I am very happy with how it turned out! I finished it just in time for 4th of July :)

Family Fun!

We had so much fun with my Aunt Julie and her girls last week! I had to work, so they watched Page for us. She had a blast playing with "the kids." Luckily, my week wasn't crazy at work so I was able to get home early and join in on the fun. We went to church, out for dinner several times, and spent lots of time in the pool! It was so nice to spend time with them. We are definitely going to miss them and hope they visit again soon! A couple pictures from the week...
