Page puts her finger over her mouth and says "shh" when we need to be quiet, puts her finger over her mouth and says "hmm" when she's thinking (both are super cute), loves to be naked so getting dressed is often a battle, loves to play on the big beds and close doors, has a great imagination and loves to have tea parties, is starting to understand directions and says things like wait, help me, and come here, thinks its super fun to sit in the front seat and pretend to drive mommy's car, often repeats what we say, can crawl to the top of the McDonald's toy structure, has started to color objects when coloring, can name the primary colors and shapes, said her first real sentence "Daddy is in the shower," has a new dislike for being wet or dirty (output), and loves water play! Page also tried peanut butter, got a toddler bike from Ma and Pa Hickman, and ate popcorn!
Page has been having weekly play dates with her friend JJ or J as she calls him, spends lots of time in the pool, started her fall classes Sportsball, Gymnastics, Art, and Story-time! She also went to the Phoenix Children's Museum, celebrated GG Lu and GG Tony's wedding anniversary at Nando's, celebrated Auntie Sommer and Ma's birthdays, went to the Splash Pad three times, went to GG Lu and GG Tony's pool party, saw her first movie Planes, went to GG Marion and GG Warren's for a family dinner, watched "Grandma" (a new word) Donna and Grandpa Dave's dogs, and went to the Sea Life Aquarium!
Page had quite a few medical appointments this month: her 2 year well check, her GI appointment, and her first dentist appointment! The Zantac wean was not successful :( Page started throwing up her Pediasure, having trouble going to bed, and not wanting to lay flat after being on two doses for a week. We have an EGD scheduled for October to find out more. Not looking forward to Page going under general anesthesia, but I requested the best doc around so she will be in good hands! And my Child Life girls will be nearby :)
