16 Months

Miss Page is 16 months old today and is definitely a toddler!! She is independent and loves to explore! Page loves being outside running around and is now comfortable touching and walking on different textures (sand, grass, wood chips, rocks, leaves, flowers, etc). After not talking much over the last couple of months, Page has started talking like crazy over the last week. Mama, dada, hi, up, eye...we even got her to say duck earlier this week ;) Page is a social girl and loves to make friends everywhere we go. She is loving her Babies in Motion class. She has become quite the leader :) She is smart and stubborn and has no trouble letting us know when she's upset. For the most part she does great. We try our best to communicate with Page and provide her with lots of attention and opportunities to explore. Page is lots of fun! She has quite the personality and the girl loves to dance! Page also likes to do flips. She actually did a forward roll all by herself earlier this week! Page has become particularly attached to her lovey. She likes to take it everywhere she goes :) Page participated in another 5K this month for JDRF, had some fun at the train park, has gone on several bike rides in her trailer, has spent lots of time with family, and enjoyed her 2nd Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for. Page is gaining weight and eating like a champ. She had her 15 month shots/flu shot earlier this month and got her first Synagis injection of the season. We are praying for a healthy respiratory season! Page did get a touch of the stomach flu this month but luckily it only lasted 24 hours. Molars #1 and #2 have arrived. I am sure the other two molars won't be far behind. Since Page is doing so well, we will start the night-time weaning process tonight. We will slowly decrease the amount of milk we offer Page at night until we get to none. We are praying for a smooth transition! We just love to watch Page grow and are so looking forward to all of the upcoming holiday fun!!
