Page had her 6 month well check on Tuesday with Dr Valenzuela. Page weighed 12lbs 9.5oz, is 26.5 inches long, & her head circumference is 16.5 inches. Page is doing well developmentally. She is tiny but keeps on growing. Dr. Valenzuela wants Page's weight checked monthly to make sure she doesn't fall off the growth chart. Since the appointment we have added a little oatmeal to Page's bottles so she can get a few extra calories. Surprisingly, Page has taken to the idea! Last night we started sleep training. We are using the least cry approach but continue to let Page eat on demand. The goal is for Page to learn to self-soothe & go to sleep on her own. It is hard to listen to our baby cry, but her sleep patterns have become unhealthy. She needs to be sleeping so she can play hard! We are hoping we will be back to no crying very soon.
