Potty Training

After seeing no results with positive reinforcement and incentives, we decided to do some serious three day, no diaper, training. Page had two accidents the first day but hasn't since. We are still using pull ups when she sleeps but she is going awesome!! She has been waking up dry from naps but still wet overnight. Thankful for progress! We are proud parents :) Hoping things go well when we go out in public!

It's a rough life...

Page's reward for peeing in the potty! She initially wanted purple toenails, then wanted to try each color. After we were done, she decided she didn't like it and asked me to take it all off ;)

Being at home for three days is not common for us, so we had to stay busy with some sensory play! Page loved her ocean sensory bin, water beads, and shaving cream activities!!

May 2014

New this month:
1) Page likes to "be a baby" by playing in the playpen, cribs, jumper, etc. She is starting to understand more about being a big sister. Page loves to touch my tummy and talk to the babies!
2) Page is loving pigtails this month! She looks super cute and I'm excited her hair is growing :)
3) Page loves kids and is becoming such a social girl. She makes friends everywhere we go!
4) Page has been loving iPad games! She can now play most of them independently!
5) Page started ISR lessons this month and loves it! She is so excited for lessons and doesn't want them to end!
6) Page went on her first boat ride and loved it! I can't wait to take her to Lake Powell!!

Page had lots of fun this month! She saw Rio 2 with Grammy, had dinner at GG Marion and GG Warren's, dinner with mommy's family at Nando's, went on her first boat ride and had brunch with daddy's family, had dinner with daddy's family at Sour Dough Pizza, went to Disneyland and California Adventure, explored the zoo, started the Summer Movie program at Harkins, and went to Floridino's with mommy's family!

Page had her GI appointment with Dr. McOmber this month. She is now 38in and 28.7lbs! She is hanging on at the 40th percentile for weight and we are weaning her off the Zantac over the next two months!

May 31st we started a 3 day potty training weekend! Page is doing great :) Bring on June!

Disneyland!!

We had a blast a Disneyland and California Adventure last month! Page was scared of most of the rides but loved the characters and all the live entertainment! She did like the giant carousel and Autotopia (what can I say she loves cars and driving!). Page's Disney favorites: Breakfast with all the princesses at Ariel's Grotto, Disney Jr Live on Stage, Toon Town, Mickey's Soundsational Parade, and the Play Parade! It was so much fun seeing Disney through Page's eyes!

We're Having A Boy & A Girl!!

That's right, we're having a boy and a girl! How exciting!!

 

Introducing Cloe Makenna! Her first name is similar to her daddy's and her middle name means "child of Kenneth" after her grandfather.

 

Introducing Jaeb Dean! His first name is in honor of his grandfather Ron Jaeb and his middle name is after his other grandfather who often went by "Kenny Dean." 

These sweet babies look as healthy as can be. How blessed are we?!

Pregnancy Update:

After a second round of antibiotics the bladder infection is gone! I am growing fast and experiencing pregnancy aches and pains but over all doing great.
