Colorado Trip

Page went on her first airplane ride this weekend! She did amazing! Page ate & fell asleep during take off both ways. She also woke up at the end of both flights ready to play. Here are a couple pictures from the airport...

 Traveling with a baby is not an easy task. Notice all the luggage :) It looks like we were moving to Colorado!

 Page loved exploring Jess & Tav's house. She especially enjoyed climbing up the stairs. We were impressed that she was able to climb the stairs without any difficulty on her first attempt!

Lots to think about ;) I'm sure Page wishes we had stairs!

I didn't do a great job of taking pictures while we were in Colorado. We did quite a bit of driving & saw lots of family. Page gets nervous with new people & places but did amazingly well out of her element. We also had a great time at DJ & Chelsea's wedding. We are happy we could be part of their special day! A big thank you to Jessica & Travis for letting us stay with them. It was so nice to see them & Page just loves her cousin Bailey! Another big thank you to Zack for watching our other baby Patch. It was so nice knowing he was in good hands! Back to reality tomorrow. Today's goal is getting Miss Page back on her sleep schedule :)

10 Months Old Already!

 Miss Page turned 10 months old yesterday! Here she is playing in her cousin Bailey's ball pit!

Love this silly girl!

Page has learned so much this month! Page isn't talking yet, but she will bark, "ruff." She does this when she's looking for Patch or to let us know he needs something. It's too cute! Page has really started making sounds these last two weeks. I expect to hear ma-ma soon :) Page has mastered crawling & enjoys going over & under things. She can pull herself up & stand holding onto support. Page took her first airplane ride this past weekend, crawled up my cousin's stairs without any trouble, & pulled herself up at the side of her crib last night. I think we're in trouble ;) Page gets nervous around new people & places and always wants her mama. This little girl is always on the move, exploring new things & makes her needs known. We love this baby & look forward to all the excitement this next month will bring!

Weight Check!

Page had her weight check today & I'm happy to report she weighs 15lbs 4.5oz! That's almost a pound in less than 2 weeks!! Page's ear infection has resolved & the oatmeal minus the swim lessons seems to be doing the trick. We hope this continues! So far all of the lab work has come back normal. We're just waiting for the celiac results. Celiac is unlikely considering her IgE levels are normal. We will see Dr Valenzula again in a month for another weight check. Page will also be seeing a Speech Therapist to evaluate her feeding. She hasn't shown much interest in eating food with any texture. Not a huge deal at this point, but we want to stay on top of it. In other news, Page will go on her first airplane ride tomorrow. Wish us luck!

Page's Appointment

Page saw Dr Valenzuela today. As expected, she has an ear infection & will need antibiotics. She hasn't been eating or sleeping well and has been off balance & coughing. Poor baby! All of this didn't help Page's weight...she actually lost .5oz these last two weeks. We are going to put the swim lessons on hold until next year so we have a better chance of getting Page's weight under control. Page will have labs drawn tomorrow to rule out several things that could be effecting her weight. Dr Valenzuela recommended we try supplementing with a high calorie formula a couple times a day but so far Page doesn't agree & will not drink the formula. She hasn't been constipated & is tolerating the oatmeal so I am hopeful she will gain weight after her ear infection resolves. Page may just take after her daddy! Tall & skinny :) We will follow up with Dr Valenzula in two weeks for another weight check & have a GI appointment scheduled for July, should we need it.

Enjoyed the day with my family. Being a mom makes me apprecitate all that my mom does for me, more than ever. I hope I can be as good a mom to Page as she is to me. So blessed!

Cardiology Appointment

Page had her cardiology appointment today. Good news...Page's ASD is half the size! This was a big surprise as the cardiologist didn't expect to see any improvement for quite some time. Surgery is not out of the question, but if things continue as they are it will not be needed! Page's heart is doing great with no signs of heart failure. The cardiologist does not feel the ASD is to blame for her weight issues & has recommended we do some GI testing. We will follow up with the PCP within the next couple of weeks to discuss the GI stuff & Page won't see the cardiologist again for 6 months.
