9 Month Well Check

Page had a 9 month well check today. Her stats...weight 14lbs 9.5oz, length 27.5 inches, head circumference 17 inches. Page only gained 9.5oz this month. The good news is she gained, the bad news is it wasn't enough. Dr. Valenzuela wants Page to see her cardiologist soon to be evaluated. She feels Page is eating well but her ASD plus the extra activity is keeping her from gaining. We will see Dr Puntel next Thursday & will see Dr Valenzuela again at the end of the month for another weight check. We are suppose to give Page fatty foods & continue with the oatmeal in her bottles. Both of these are challenging. Page has been constipated, so we need to be push the water & prunes. As for the fatty foods, Page only eats small portions & isn't quite ready for textured foods. We are going to start with some pureed avocado, refried beans, & mashed potatoes with lots of butter ;) Wish us luck!

Respiratory season is over but flu season is not so Dr Valenzuela wants us to be cautious with Page. She has also asked that we get the Pertussis vaccine as there are lots of cases right now. Please help us out & get your vaccine to keep Miss Page healthy!

9 Months Old!

Our little lady is 9 months old today! Page has had quite the month. She got her first two teeth, is crawling all over, started swim lessons last week, & pulled herself up to stand yesterday. Page's playroom is set up now & she sure loves to play! Tomorrow is Page's 9 month well check. We are hoping for a good weight but a little nervous about all the new activity this month ;) As always, we are excited for all the next month with hold!

We have a Crawler!

Good Friday was a big day for Page! She got her first tooth & learned how to crawl!! Here is a video of Page crawling yesterday. I will try to add a little less commentary in the up coming videos ;) Enjoy...
