26 Week Appointment & Other News

Appointment
I had my 26 week appointment today. Unfortunately, Cole & Dr. Linnerson weren't able to make it so it was just me & the NP Amber. Everything looks good. My only problem has been swelling, which I have been able to manage with a low sodium diet. My blood pressure, urine sample, weight gain, & belly measurements are normal. Page's heart was beating strong at 150bpm. She continues to grow....Page is about 14 inches long & weights almost 2lbs. Next week I will have my glucose tolerance test & our next OB appointment will be at 30 weeks. Notice the count down on the blog. Page will be here before we know it!

Patch
Patch is recovering from surgery. Some how he managed to pull his drain out a few days after surgery. Luckily, it was healing well & we didn't have to replace it. The challenge has been keeping his bandage on. Now that he has figured out how to unwrap the bandage, I am changing the darn thing several times a day. He goes back to the vet on Wednesday & hopefully the stitches will come out. We will all be excited when the bandage is gone!

New House
Cole & I purchased a house this weekend! It is located in Gilbert (Warner & Gilbert). It is a great house, in a wonderful area, with a great school district. We are super excited & close June 7th! Pictures coming soon.

Another Surgery

Here's the story...I noticed a growth on Patch's front paw in October. The vet wasn't concerned. I brought him back to the vet last month because the growth got bigger. The biopsy came back clear so we decided to leave it alone. Yesterday, the growth was huge & really bothering him, so the vet thought it was time to remove the growth. Patch had surgery today. The growth ended up being a cyst with three ingrown hairs that were actually growing. Pretty weird! Thankfully, everything went well & he is home recovering. He will have a drain in for two weeks. We are hoping for a speedy recovery! A couple pictures of our tired pup... Love this guy...
